MERIT SELECTION VERSUS AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

MERIT SELECTION VERSUS
AFFIRMATIVE ACTION

Merit Selection
ensures that suitably educated and qualified people are appointed to vacant positions in all employment situations, especially the vacant situations in State Structures, Municipal Sturctures, The Police Services, The Prison Services, Hospitals, Home Affairs, Agricultural Services and other essential services.

Merit Selection does not consider non competency issues such as the colour of one's skin, one's gender, ethnicity, or any other non work related issue to be of significance in the selection of an employee. However MERIT does consider such issues as Integrity, Relevant Education and Experience to be of the utmost importance.

Merit is selective when it comes to a criminal act or acts committed by an applicant. Any person regardless of his or her status must accept responsibility for his or her anti social actions and expect to be judged accordingly. When a person commits a criminal act he or she must face the consequences in a Criminal Court regardles of his or her status. The consequences of criminal behaviour is especially important when the perpetrators are legislators or employees of governmental bodies, because their criminal conduct impacts on the general population.

The media is constantly reporting issues of bad conduct on the part of public officials which include criminal acts such as theft, fraud, corruption et cetera.
Regretably in some countries the officials concerned do not face the consequences of their acts as ordinary people do. This reflects badly on the country in question and can lead to sanctions and disinvestment. Bad goverence and criminality is endemic in some countries but the protestations of their populations are ignored by those who govern them. No names no pack drill.

Some governments are ignoring calls for potable water, maximising agricultural production of food to feed their populations, not to mention acceptable standards of service from the Police, Prisons, Hospitals, Municipalities et cetera.

With diminishing agricultural production, access to potable water, the population explosion, the threat of global warming, poverty, lack of employment opportunities, and criminality, the future of the all people on our planet is at risk.

Governments worldwide must become aware of the threats to our exixtence and take sufficient and relevant steps timeously, to avoid a catastrophy.

GO WELL MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS WHEREVER YOU ARE.
